Abstract

Systems for optical tracking are used to follow moving objects in a scene captured by imaging methods. In this work, an environment is developed for testing tracking algorithms with respect to their qualitative properties. Part of this test bed is the simulation of an environmental model. The simulation is used both to generate test inputs as well as reference data. For calculating a specific model, the programming library Open Dynamics Engine was used. Furthermore, a reusable component for flexible integration of simulation models in a REMUS-based test bed was created. By means of a graphical test application the practical applicability of the developed approach is shown.
